Available courses
The Education and Training Level 3 course is composed of 3 units, which will give you a certificate that prepares you to teach in FE institutions.
The course is an initial teacher training qualification for those who are new to teaching, or desiring to start out as associate teachers, or who are presently teaching in United Kingdom and requiring certification or qualification to become full teachers in Further Education or in the Lifelong Learning sector.
To achieve the qualification, it is not an essential requirement to be in a teaching role in order to be assessed. This is designed to make it a very achievable qualification and appropriate starting point for anyone who want to become an educator.
The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) is suitable for teachers, trainers and tutors working in further education, adult and community learning or work-based training within public, private, voluntary or community organisations. It prepares trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts and requires observation and assessment of practice. Teaching practice is a requirement of the qualification. The course is suitable to anyone who wants to explore theories, and research into effective teaching and learning alongside developing the practical skills that teachers will need in their profession.
It qualifies one to work in the lifelong learning sector as a teacher, upon receiving certificate you are able to apply for (QTLS) if you have DTLLS or PGCE.
What is in the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievements?
The Level 3 Certificate in Assessing permits and qualifies you to assess both occupational and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment rather than assessing competence in a work environment.
What does the course involves?
The duration of the course could be 3-6 months. All learners would be required to assess 2 learners at work base environment on 2 separate occasions after completing unit 1. You will be observed and assessed during the practical assessment. We will come to you to assess you at no extra cost, on the other hand if there is a qualified assessor who is willing to observe you, all you need is to send a copy of their certificate to us. There are 3 mandatory units within the course and they are:
- Understanding the principles and practice of assessment
- Assessing occupational competence in the work environment
- Assessing vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
If you are looking into becoming an internal verifier, moderator of assessment or quality assure assessors, tutors and trainers then this qualification will be suitable.
The Internal quality assurance of the assessment process from within a centre or organization by sample planning, monitoring and advising on the practice of assessors. This includes both the verification of competence-based qualifications and moderation of taught programs in the learning environment.
The qualification provides learners with opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable learners to perform the role of internal quality assurer in their subject area. The objective of the qualification includes supporting a role in the workplace and meeting relevant programs of learning.
Who is the course for?
Assessors, trainers and tutors who work in schools delivering vocational courses

- Internally assure the quality of

To achieve the level 4 education and training qualification, the student should be in a teaching /training role to be able to be assessed on the job and carry out teaching practice.
This qualification is suitable for individuals who want a qualification that focuses on practical teaching.
Learners may already be teaching and wish to have their experience and practice accredited, or not presently teaching but capable of meeting the minimum teaching practice requirement of 30 hours. The role carries less responsibility than that of a qualified teacher.
The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (QCF) is suitable for teachers, trainers and tutors working in further education, adult and community learning or work-based training within public, private, voluntary or community organisations. It prepares trainee teachers to teach in a wide range of contexts and requires observation and assessment of practice. Teaching practice is a requirement of the qualification. The course is suitable to anyone who wants to explore theories, and research into effective teaching and learning alongside developing the practical skills that teachers will need in their profession.
It qualifies one to work in the lifelong learning sector as a teacher, upon receiving certificate you are able to apply for (QTLS).
The student should have a minimum of Level 3 skills in the subject you intend to teach though qualification is optional. You will need to commit to a minimum 100 hours of teaching practice in a recognized lifelong learning location to earn a Diploma. You need to achieve 120 credits.
The Education and Training Level 5 (including Teaching Mathematics: Numeracy) RQF is suitable for teachers, trainers, and tutors working in further education, adult and community learning, or work-based training within public, private, voluntary or community organisations. It can be acquired as a stand-alone diploma or as part of The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF): It prepares trainee teachers to teach mathematics in a wide range of contexts and requires observation and assessment of practice. Teaching practice is a requirement of the qualification. The course is suitable for anyone who wants to explore theories, and research into effective mathematics teaching and learning alongside developing the practical skills that teachers will need in their profession.
It qualifies one to work in the lifelong learning sector as a teacher.
The student should have Level 3 skills in Mathematics. You will need to commit to 100hours of teaching practice in a recognized lifelong learning location to earn this qualification. You need to achieve 120 credits.
